With over 100 short stories in print, Kate Thornton focuses on the short form of telling a crime story. She is a member of Sisters in Crime Tucson and Los Angeles and of Mystery Writers of America. She has served on short story panels at Left Coast Crime and California Crime Writers Conference and taught the short story workshop for Sisters in Crime Los Angeles for several years. She has edited anthologies, published collections, and worked with print and online editors in the short story world. Now a Tucson resident, she looks forward to continuing to “write short.”
